Rice growers, local officials, and agriculture partners gathered in Libmanan, Camarines Sur for the 2026 Wet Season Cropping Hybrid Rice Model Farm Field Day, part of the Libmanan Rice Derby, and Gemini Agri Farm Solutions Corp. was there to take part. The field day opened the model farm to everyone who wanted to see how hybrid rice performs under different crop management practices over a full wet season.
Walking the plots, our team talked with farmers about what they were seeing: how the crop developed, how the plants responded to proper nutrition and care, and what practices made the biggest difference from planting to harvest. The derby setup makes these comparisons easy to see, since each plot shows the results of the inputs and methods used on it. Farmers could ask questions on the spot and take home ideas they can try on their own rice fields.
Events like this show why model farms matter. When farmers can see results in the field instead of reading about them, it becomes much easier to decide what to adopt in the next cropping season. Our team was glad to be part of that exchange, sharing technical guidance and listening to the experiences of the people who grow rice every day.
We thank the organizers of the Libmanan Rice Derby, the local government, and the partner agencies behind this field day for the invitation and for their continued support of Bicolano rice farmers. Thank you as well to the farmer cooperators who cared for the model farm all season.
Gemini Agri Farm Solutions Corp. remains committed to providing innovative agricultural solutions, practical technical guidance, and continuous support to help farmers achieve healthier crops and more productive harvests.
