Technology met tradition as our team took part in a drone application activity for Totem Biofertilizer, held in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Calabanga, New Hope Drone Provider, Syngenta, Bayer, and the Model Farm Cooperators. This collaborative effort brought together multiple industry players to demonstrate a faster, more precise, and more efficient way of delivering biofertilizer across wide rice field areas.
Using drone technology, Totem was applied evenly across the model farm, cutting down application time significantly while ensuring uniform coverage that supports stronger root systems, healthier vegetative growth, and improved flowering and yield potential for the rice crop. The activity also gave cooperators a firsthand look at how modern farming tools can work hand-in-hand with proven biofertilizer solutions to boost both efficiency and productivity in the field.
This partnership reflects a shared vision among MAO Calabanga, New Hope Drone Provider, Syngenta, Bayer, and Gemini Agri: to bring innovation closer to Filipino farmers and show that embracing new technology doesn’t mean leaving behind trusted, results-driven products. It was a strong example of what’s possible when government, industry, and agri-solutions providers work together toward a common goal.
